content (interviews, mixes, photos, etc.), live chat and internet radio. We would cover concerts and events and interview different artists to keep things fresh and exciting, adding to the already massive media content at our disposal. The early days of the site included weekly radio shows by DJ Knockz (The Basement Mix), Ghetto Fabulous Sound (The Garage), both of Toronto, and Scarhead (Jahcuban) of Miami. With live guests like Wayne Wonder and Blessed, and special guest DJ appearances by Black Chiney and DJ Wiz among others, these shows were always a can't-miss event. Our three stations at this time were Roots Reggae, Dancehall Reggae and Hip-hop. By 2003 Sensimedia expanded to include online marketing and promotion for a number of recording artists, promoters, producers, festivals and night clubs. The expansion was welcome in some ways, but the price was less time to focus on exclusive content meaning less updates for the site. As a result the site was pulled back to only our key features: internet radio and live chat. This allowed us to continue our mission of promoting urban music and culture through multimedia and interactivity without spending as much time worrying about additional content updates. Special features during this period included live broadcasts from sound clashes out of Los Angeles and New York. By this time we had added Reggaeton and Soca stations to our lineup. By 2007, it was time to regroup and rebuild with the goal of getting things back to where they were in the beginning. The Reggaeton station was removed, but we added the Dubstep & Bass station, home to shows by Skrewface, Dubbwune and Mama Love the Shady Lady. Currently the company is lead by Bryan "Primo" Mendoza (CEO) out of Los Angeles with assistance by Victor "Skrewface" Reiman out of Sweden. The team is comprised of DJ's and music enthusiasts from around the world including Toronto, Miami, New York and London to name a few. Each member of our team brings a different style and outlook to Sensimedia, giving us a well rounded approach to promoting the music our audience thirsts for. Today Sensimedia is taking a look back at it's roots, aiming to bring back the exclusive content we always brought you before as only we can.
