1952! The WRBC studio is located in the basement of 31 Frye Street across from the student coffee house, The Ronj. WRBC is currently ranked by the The Princeton Review as the 18th best college radio station in the United States and Canada, making it the top college radio in the New England Small College Athletic Conference. Once a semi-annual print publication, The Monkey Music Magazine, is now a Blog. The Monkey Blog by WRBC was established in 2009 and features writers from across WRBC, the radio station of Bates College. We include include all sorts of articles on anything from music to fashion, pretty much whatever people want to write about — concert reviews, album reviews, post the charts every week, those sorts of things. Its a good and wholesome place where people from around the world can get involved in music and culture journalism.
